When writing your articles, you need to keep in mind two things: first is your reader, next are the search engines. You need to make sure that both aspects are taken care of. Make it easy for your readers to understand and digest what you have to say. Since Google is the number one search engine in the world, it is the leader in determining which websites are the most relevant for search words and terms. Setting up, planning and executing an SEO campaign might well seem like an insurmountable obstacle. Search engine crawlers and indexing programs are basically software programs. These programs are extraordinarily powerful. They crawl hundreds of billions of web pages, analyze the content of all these pages, and analyze the way all these pages link to each other.

Generally speaking you want to use your keyword as the anchor text for your internal linking whenever possible. External linking (from other sites) shouldn’t be very heavily optimized for anchor text. If 90% of your links all have the same anchor text Google can throw a red flag, assuming that you’re doing something fishy. Though you can
simply just add a tracking code to your web pages for website analytics tools to start measuring
your web stats, Google Analytics (and products similar to it) have website plugins and add-ons that tremendously
expand the reporting capabilities. The website should be easy to go around or navigate and not confuse the visitors. It should lead the user to what it’s searching for with as few clicks as possible. Making it user friendly also makes it SEO friendly. Search engine optimization (SEO) is a term that gets thrown around a lot. It is no longer a hip, mysterious thing. Many people know what it is and numerous large companies already have a well-developed SEO strategy in place.
Entirely too genius SEO
Reviews are an important factor for SEO. They help potential customers trying to decide whether to trust you. If your local business has a Google+ page and is marked on Google Maps, you need to have reviews. The best thing you can do is encourage your customers to leave reviews if they’re satisfied with your service. Try offering them an incentive, such as a small discount if they click on a link and leave a review. It’s clear that
there is a link between the websites which rank highly for a certain keyword and whether or not that keyword appears in its URL. However, this is unlikely to be the only factor that determines whether or not a site can rank well. The backlinks you want pointing to your site are natural, authentic, industry-related and authoritative. In the earlier days of SEO, sending out press releases with keyword optimized anchor texts would get you a dozens of backlinks. In some fortunate cases, this would even make your site crawl to the top positions on SERPs. So, eventually Press releases became a tactic to build links and rank high.

Internal links help Google establish site architecture and relative intra-site importance of webpages. For this reason, you should have internal links both on a site-wide & on-page, in-content basis. The actual number of internal links per page will vary & depend on the utility offered to users (once again). Content Marketing involves creating and sharing content online such as blogs, videos, or social posts to create interest around your brand and business. While the way you craft your content and the copy of your website obviously have an affect on your SEO, it’s important not to forget about the quality and whether people will actually want to read/ watch what you have to offer. One question that often arises in regards to HTML tags and linking is whether or not internal links should be “nofollowed.” “Rel=’nofollow’” instructs Google to not allow PageRank to flow through the link. Gaz Hall, from
SEO Hull, had the following to say: "If you don’t know where to submit a guest blog post or what forums would be good to participate on, research where your competitors are going to get links and follow suit."
Is your website too Dynamic for SEO?
One of the most common problems for webmasters who run
both mobile and desktop versions of a site is that the mobile
version of the site appears for users on a desktop computer, or
that the desktop version of the site appears when someone
accesses it on a mobile device. Although lead generation
via the Web is less direct than an ecommerce transaction, it is arguably just as valuable and important for building customers, revenue, and long-term value. Avoid unwieldy phrases and unnecessarily long descriptions, instead trying to say as much as possible with the smallest word count necessary. Meta description tags can influence click-throughs but aren't directly used for rankings.
