Stop using keywords in your titles. Why? Because if you don’t know how to optimize a Web page without stuffing your title, then you don’t know how to optimize a Web page. Titles and URLs are options, not requirements, in search engine optimization. Learn to understand and fully appreciate the difference between being able to do something and needing to do something. Writing for humans is just the first part of your SEO strategy and one that works with our next tactic, namely giving visitors what they want. As well as great quality content you need a website that is easy to use and provides a great user experience – in other words, don’t make your visitors think. If your website is hard to navigate, information is difficult to find or the design is too busy then visitors are unlikely to stick around no matter how well written your content is. The search engines are able to analyze the reading level of the document. One popular formula for doing this is the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level Readability Formula, which considers things like the average word length and the number of words in a sentence to determine the level of education needed to be able to understand the sentence. For years SEOs have focussed on the sharp end of the funnel. and for good reason: the search terms with transactional intent bring in revenue. Let’s be clear, these search terms should remain a staple of any website focussed on ROI.
Be Mobile Friendly
There is no one quick fix for breaking through the rankings and getting yourself on top, unless you’re willing to pay an exorbitant amount of money for ads which are highly likely to just be ignored, anyhow. Google has stated on
the record that page loading speed is an SEO ranking signal. You can boost your site speed by using a CDN, compressing images, and switching to faster hosting. The SERP landscape is constantly changing, with Local listing and OneBoxes popping up everywhere. Ranking number one has obviously never been a walk in the park. But now we’re dealing with a much more complex environment. If you website is new, however, or you have a low domain authority, just posting a blog to your site is going to have hardly any benefit from an SEO perspective.
Content is king or customer is king?
In order to please both the search engines (who will reward you with high rankings over time) and potential customers and return visitors, you need to offer value above and beyond search engine optimization. If your products or
services are good and you have a solid marketing strategy, you will achieve both PageRank and customers. If, on the other hand, you do anything to piss Google off, you can forget about traffic coming in via search, and I wish you the best of luck! SEO today is increasingly driven by natural language search, that is, people doing searches that are more like normal questions than two or three keywords. Duplicate content isn’t necessarily a bad or wrong thing, apart from in the above example where it’s just straight up theft.
Your site speed isn’t important
To prepare for voice search, you need to take a good look at your current content. Ask yourself, does it answer any question a user might have? If not, change it. The biggest SEO mistake you can make during a website redesign is to not think about SEO until it’s too late. If you don’t have SEO in mind from the initial strategy session, you’re going to lose what you took so much time and effort to build. A holistic approach to organic growth often requires buy-in from internal stakeholders that may have little previous experience, or even worse – suspicion of SEO. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant
: "If you’re thinking about using a CMS plugin that automatically hyperlinks a certain word every time it appears on your website (i.e. like Wikipedia does), I’d suggest refraining from doing so unless you’re a relatively big brand or if it makes complete sense from a UX perspective."
Understanding the rationale behind responsive design
When you're wrting your fabulous website copy. remember that your keywords should be completely relevant to the subject you are writing about on the page. If you want to rank for ‘seo consultant’ and you stuff every webpage with these keywords even if they have nothing to do with these keywords then you will be found out. Off page SEO is
a long term and time consuming process. It includes acquiring backlinks to your webpage from the authority sites, Social media and Social bookmarking. Off page factors work in the background to improve the search rankings. Controlling most of the navigation from page to page on your site through text links makes it easier for
search engines to crawl and understand your site. Many users also prefer this over other approaches,
