When writing a new post, always link to previous relevant articles you have written. That will help your users spend more time on your website by visiting other useful articles. Ranking high in Google can bring you some serious traffic too. When looking at a Google results page (often referred to as Search Engine Results Page, or SERP for short), the number one result alone brings in 31% of search traffic on average. Meaning, when people search for a keyword, 31% of those searches will click the first result. For sites “with just a few things to mark up,” Google also offers a tool within Search Console that allows a site owner to quickly click-and-drag to apply structured data. Duplicate content is content that appears in more than one place online. When there are multiple pieces of identical content, it's difficult for search engines to decide which version is more relevant to a given search query.

Boost your site speed indefinitely

Anyone who is commenting on the blog will leave a backlink, which means, backlinking is a mode to drive traffic. Make sure, you are not commenting a random one, as it will serve you no good. The comments should be relevant and in that context only. Don't fill your page with lists of keywords, attempt to "cloak" pages, or put up "crawler only" pages. If your site contains pages, links, or text that you don't intend visitors to see, Google considers those links and pages deceptive and may ignore your site. Create infographics around your industry, at least once every two weeks or even one per month. Infographics can be simple. They don’t have to be full of tons of data or tons of information, but they do have to be interesting and creative. We all know that when it comes to link building, we aim for the authority links in the first place. But they’re also the hardest to land.

Use co-occurring words from pages that are highly ranked

Meta descriptions don’t carry as much value as they used to, but they still have an important role for SEO. Each of your posts should have a unique title and meta description. Make sure all are unique and you don’t have any duplicate ones. Internal links can help you prove your authority in a particular field by creating a logical sequence from one post to the other. This may lead to a series of posts that offer additional value, making it easier for search engines to understand your key topics. If you perform an SEO audit now and then, you make sure your website’s up-to-date. It should be part of your frequent site maintenance cycle, I think. Choosing a perfect focus keyword is not an exact science. You should aim for a combination of words that are used by a search audience. Aim for a focus keyword that is relatively high on volume and aim for one that will fit your audience.

Dealing with a Google algorithm change like the page layout update can feel like falling into an abyss of constant web design changes over and over again. An important aspect of SEO is making your website easy for both users and search engine robots to understand. Search engine algorithms will surely crawl video content directly instead of just crawling the text based content surrounding the video. This will gradually phase out the effectiveness of using “clickbait” to draw more attention to the video. We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Once you have completed your initial keyword research, review your keywords to identify which are most relevant for your business and which have the highest volume."

One of the problems international businesses continuously need to address is identifying themselves as “local” in the eyes of the search engines. Duplicate content refers to a webpage’s content that appears in more than one place on the internet. Over time, you’ll gather data that helps you determine which of your keywords are most successful, and which ones need more work -- but how do you pick the right initial set of keywords? Remember the good old days of SEO, when all that you really needed to have “valid SEO content” was a certain number of words crossed with a certain percentage targeted keywords and punctuated by a few words linking to targeted pages?
